IS  TRUTH  IMPORTANT  TO  YOU?

The Apostle John, tells us through the holy scriptures:  “I’m writing to you so that you may not sin.” God is light thus, God is all around us, then there is brighter more condensed light which includes his power. Resonate on that for a moment.

Remember Adam and Eve, their action of eating the forbidden fruit brought into the world sin. Sin is death. The ruler of sin is the devil, and he comes in the deepest darkest places to bring destruction he hopes you’re in the middle of a difficult situation where he can easily manipulate your thoughts and circumstances to turn more inward, more to yourself, despair, depression, he seeks to devour and destroy human lives.

Living in the world today? Are you pointing others to Christ with your walk, your deeds (doings, actions that others see), can one learn from others, not gossip but learning of one from others you associate with how you deal with situations or associate in business?

Once while working in the Insurance business, being new to work, I asked God to let me work with a Christian organization. I’m sure many of you have done similar, asking God to let you be about with other brothers and Sisters in Christ. Ponder on this for a moment, think back over the years.

Did your working with other Christians work out well or was there a little backbiting of those who were around you? Not Christ-like, is it? Was the love your neighbor (now not talking about brother or sister here but did you or were you loved as you wanted to be loved? In I John, the teacher says, “I’m writing no new commandment, but one from the old and yet still today this truth remains, the one who says he loves his brother but is still in darkness when he treats him badly, not the way you would want to be treated. No one likes to be talked about behind their back, especially one who is a Christian, and yet the Deacon, the Elder, and the Pastor’s wife who were the leaders of this Insurance company scored their sales, and even the appointments that were set up not only by me but another new agent who is a Christian also, well, let’s say we were thrown to the wolves. So, I’ve learned not to judge others by the mistakes of others, and every Christian does not play fairly. The Elder told me Business is Business.

This blog is not about me airing my grievances, but to say, that you’re not the only one who has been let down by a fellow brother or sister in Christ, or are they a TRUE Christian? Perhaps the perplexity of life in some churches leads you to believe you’ve been saved by the grace of God, through Faith in His Son Jesus Christ and even had a water baptism, but their life changed for a month or so but didn’t take and now their deeds show their unrighteousness.

Whoever hates his brother or treats them (deeds) wrongly, lies to them, murders them, all sins are evil, some are more grievous than others, yet sin is a sin, and if you’re a child of God that falters, a quick petition to God for forgiveness will work well. Chronic repeat offenders should seek out God to ask for His help in overcoming the problem. Many times His help will come through His Word, being restored to Him is a faith walk and one who must be deliberate in their actions to overcome the problem. Such as vices of smoking, or abusers of anything that hurts your body. God can and will help you. Did you know that we’re not supposed to mark up our bodies with such as Tattoos? Those usually come about because we have a desire of self-mutilation or the thrill of hurting the body with the incision of ink and dyes which are poisonous to the skin of a human being.

The Apostle John says:  Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world---the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life---is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. We are living in the last hour, and as you have heard that antichrist is coming, so now many antichrists have come.

I read this scripture to my dad and a sphere of light showed up in front of us. The Light was bright in the middle with like a cumulous cloud color, Sirius, and streaked away as fast as it came, as lightning. Dad passed away before the end of 2023, his last hour was a short year and a few months.

Every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not of God, this is the spirit of the antichrist. Beware, folks, the devil lurks around and may even disguise himself as an old lady, or a young girl, or a handsome young man in the church. Watch their deeds. Listen to their words when they speak. Do they take God’s name in vain? Are they damning everything? There was an advertisement on television an attorney used to say: “You’ll know when you need us.” You’ll know them by their deeds! Remember Cain and Abel, Cain’s deeds were evil. Abel’s were righteous. Ch3, vs 12.

Now, don’t be afraid in the world, many will smile at you while stabbing you in the back, but remember if you’re from God, you have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. Ch4, vs4.  

We are from God, whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this, we know the Spirit of Truth and the spirit of error. Vs6.

Have confidence in the fact that we belong to God, but also know that the world around us is in the grips of the evil one. We also can be sure of the fact that the Son of God has come and given us a mind so that we may know Him as the embodiment of all that is true. We live in this truth, in His Son Jesus, the Anointed One. He is the True God and eternal life. Ch5, Vss19-20. (The Voice Bible)
